Verizon iphone 5 Price Plans

Apple has announced its newest version of the iPhone and like always people can’t rush off fast enough to snap up this incredibly hot device. But is it right for you? Hopefully this quick break down of the iphone5 price plans on Verizon will let you know if the new Apple phone is the perfect fit for your lifestyle and budget!

Things to Remember when getting Verizon price plans

Before we go into the ins and outs of the specific plans, I want to make a couple of things clear. First, these prices reflect the ones show in September of 2012 and are subject to change at any time. Secondly, these prices do not reflect any customer code, coupon, or special deals that you may be able to take advantage. And thirdly, there is a standard $40 a month charge for each smartphone on your service plan, so that has been factored in automatically. Also all plans are now SHARE EVERYTHING data plans, so you’ll only have to pay the amount shown for that level of data pooled across all of your devices. All plans come with unlimited talk and text.

On to the iPhone5 price plans on Verizon!

2GB Shared Data Plan – $60

This is the entry level plan for all Verizon smartphone users, and the least amount of shared data that you can get. This is a great jumping off point for anyone looking to get their first smartphone, and a very wise decision for anyone not looking to use the internet very much. 2GB is perfect for light browsing, a little bit of email, and some games and movies. You’ll probably want to keep an eye on your usage though, as it gets quite expensive if you go over you allotment.

4GB Shared Data Plan – $70

A very smart buy (especially since you get almost double the data from the entry level plan for just $10 a month more, this is one of the more popular shared data plans offered. Perfect for a single user account that’s into streaming movies and online gaming, this is also probably the best entry level position if you have more than just one user on your shared network plan.

6GB Unlimited Shared Data Plan – $80

This is where we start getting into power user territory, especially if you’re the only person on the plan. This is the level you should use if you have multiple devices on a single plan, as the shared data is more than enough to go around.

8GB, 10GB, 12GB Shared Data Plans – $90, $100, $100 respectively

These are definitely not for the single user (unless you’re using your phone for business or as an internet hub for all of your other devices. This is a serious amount of data being transferred back and forth, but if you know you’re going to be pushing the cap you may want to take the plunge and grab something in this tier of offerings

What is Share Everything price plan

With the Share Everything plan, you get Unlimited TALK as well as unlimited TEXT. And a single pool of Shareable DATA that powers up to 10 Devices. You can even use your iPhone as a mobile hotspot to connect up to 10 Wi-Fi enabled Devices. At no extra charge.

What if you are upgrading from unlimited data plan

Verizon has discontinued Unlimited data plan back in June 2012. So, if you have iphone 4s on unlimited plan and you are eligible for upgrade, you have to pay full price for new iphone5 to keep your old data plan. Otherwise, you will loose old plan and you will need to go to new ‘shared everything’ plan.

All in all you’re going to need to select the iPhone5 price plans on Verizon that makes the most since for you, and I wish you luck with your new smartphone!
